just had a eye muscle repair procedure Mr Chawla explained all what would be done and was very caring and understood my concerns he made me feel at ease. His Theatre sister called Jenny was amazing. After my procedure she called me after a couple of days to make sure I was alright. I needed some advice I texted her on Sunday she came back to me straight away. Had the stitches removed yesterday.
The result is great my eye now opens fully and as the doctor said he would do he has hidden the scar in my eye lid which is great just a very fine line.
All the theatre staff were lovely talked to me to take my mind off what they were doing to prep me before the procedure.
Thank you to a great team

I met with Mr Chawla,, he was very professional, understanding and supportive of the situation. He explained the treatment / procedure(s) that I was going to have. He kept me informed at all times and put me at ease. He was sensitive and kind, which made the process easier to deal with. I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to Mr Chawla and would highly recommend him.
Your wonderful and kind feedback is much appreciated.Kind regards J S Chawla
I had private treatment with Mr Chawla in 2017 to replace the lenses in my eye with multi focus plastic lenses (same surgery as cataract surgery but my plastic lenses were multi focus). This cured myopia (short sightedness). This week I returned for a quick laser treatment (private) to remove some deposits in my eye which happens to 10% to 30% of people who have lense replacement surgery. If you need that second procedure it is much cheaper, quicker etc and you only have to have it once in your life time. So now I have perfect vision for life and will never get cataracts (of course I accept I could develop other eye conditions as there are more to the eyes than lenses but my vision will always be perfect. So worth it to me as I detested wearing glasses and could not wear lenses. The lense replacement surgery (and my top up) was quick, painless and I only had to put drops in my eyes post surgery. Best operation I ever had in my life and so worth the money. Mr Chawla and his assistants Sister Jenny Jones and Montel (and Mr Chawla's Secretary, Pip Chambers) are all so professional and courteous. They make you feel very comfortable, explain the entire procedure and after care and make sure you fully understand what is happening. I recommend this over laser surgery if you are able to have it because it is permanent and I recommend this surgery if you are someone who wears glasses and lenses, and struggles with them. I can honestly confirm there is no pain, no fear involved, no difficult after care or things that you can't do. It's really worth it if you are able to afford it. The technology is amazing and I having perfect eye sight for me is critical and worth more than a few holidays.
Our grateful thanks for your kind feedback and comments. Kind regards J S Chawla
